As the threats toward Lucas escalate, he and Raven find themselves at a crossroad.

While they carefully navigate what it means to them to be in a relationship, and reflect on what they truly want out of the future, their enemies seem determined to bring Lucas to his knees.

But what are those people truly after?

The consequences of this unraveling are far-reaching, unavoidably resulting in tension and life-defining choices for the new couple. Although a relentless disarray is undeniably creeping inside their existences, in the midst of the chaos, a slew of questions are begging to be answered.

Can they make the most out of the cards they were dealt? Or will the recent events lead them to their doom?

Even  what exactly are they willing to sacrifice to stay true to themselves?

The answers might very well seal their fate.

Genre: Romantic Suspense

How do you find time to write?

It honestly never worked for me to schedule time to write so I usually always end up writing whenever and wherever I can when the inspiration strikes. Even without a fixed schedule, I will say that usually I write a minimum of 4 or 5 days a week.

What is the best time of day for you to write?

Usually in the evenings or early in the morning. I feel like this is when my creativity is sharper.

How long does it take you to write a book?

Great question! It depends on the book. It can take me anywhere between 6 months to a full year depending on my schedule and of the intricacy of the plot I constructed.

Does writing energize you or exhaust you?

Energizes, no doubt about it. It’s always been my main creative outlet and it allows me to strike that equilibrium between my creativity and my rationality that I nurture on a daily basis in my work (by trade I’m a neuroscientist).

Do you believe in writer’s block?

A few years ago I would’ve said no, but now I can say that I totally believe in it! To me, it’s more of a ‘I’m in between ideas’ phase, but when it happens whatever I try to write just doesn’t have the right feel to it and it’s very annoying haha.

Have you ever gotten reader’s block?

Yes! I do suffer from it from time to time.

If you could tell your younger writer self anything, what would it be?

To never stop writing. That there are no immutable rules that one has to respect to tell stories that connect with readers. That every author goes at it differently, each has their own voice, and there’s beauty in all that diversity. Each voice deserves to be heard and it connects with different people. If writing is enjoyable, never stop doing it. Never put yourself in a box.
